anxiously waiting

So I dont normaly post personal stuff, but I have to put it out there.
It's been almost 2 years since Scooter was born via emergency c-section. Last week I noticed that the incision sight was starting to hurt. To the point that my shirt touched it and i dropped to my knees in pain. Not normal.
So I called my wonderful and amazing ob and scored an apt. I got a fist class ticket the next morning to have an ultrasound to make sure all was well.
I, didn't put much thought into it. The tech said there wasn;t a whole lot to stress about. YAY. good news right before the holidays.
Yesterday the ob's office called to see if I could move my apt next week since Dr. P is trying to take some time off with his family. Rock on I told them. Just call me with the results and all will be good.
Then I get the call. I've got a cyst on my ovaries. Nothing to worry about says the voice on the other end. I ask what does that mean? well, she said, you need to schedule another utrasound. We need to see if it's gonna grow or go away on its own.
Well, I ask, what happens if it doesn't go away?
The dr will talk to you when you come in on the 15th of jan for the ultrasound.
Ok, when will the results for the ultrsound be done in jan?
Oh, he'll have the results that day.
can you say SHIT. It makes me very nervous when people won;t answer your questions over the phone and they tell you that the dr will talk to you in a month. Really? why d I have to wait a month for this crap to end? or to have ALL my answers. Like i need more things to go wrong with this body. Gallbladder, 2 emergency c-sections, hernias...and the list goes on.
I.HAVE.HAD. E-N-O-U-G-H.
Yes, there's a part of me that doesn't care, but there's another part of me stressing meyond imagination. Merry christmas to me.
Int he mean time, I get to play and hang out with bot kids this week and next. We pulled Scooter out of daycare for the holidays. It;s been fun having both kids home. I love my kids.

One dish I make for the family is killer Orange Chicken. This is what it looks like. Even the kids eat it I will share my secret next year. The seasion one of top chef did me well.

So this afternoon I was given about an hour (while Michael went to get Logan with Beanie...he had an apt in the area, so he stopped by to say hello) to have all to myself...and what do i do with it?

Yeah, you know where this is going. I spend 20 minutes on something that I've been trying to finish for about a month, then the dryer goes off, so I go fold the laundry, start dinner, clean up the toys, put some holiday decorations out and finish the dishes that are in the sink and start the dishwasher. Yup, there goes the time to myself. and yes, I know, it was my choice, but it's so much easier to get those things does without the kids than it is with the kids. And those of you with kids totaly understand that.
It worked out well, dinner was on the table and the house was picked up when Michael and the kids got home. Dinner, however, sucked. tomorrow...roast. Yup, stop drooling, if you ask nicely, I'll let you come over and we'll share the roast and all the good things that go in with it. and all in my new crockpot! so exciting!
