Seeing the pictures is awsome and i can't wait to meet her in person...all 19inches of her!

The boy

I used to snuggle with beanie. I would read her a book and tell her all the things she did right that day, then i'd snuggle with her for a few moments as she fell fast asleep.

This is how it should be...this is NOT how it is with the boy.

Hubby started snuggling with the boy just as I snuggled with beanie. The problem came when Michael had to work late one night and I put th ekids to bed. See, when the kids go to bed, I have mommy time. So i do laundry, dishes, watch tv, knitting...or most day, go to bed. Logan didnt seem to like this.

he would stand at his gate screaming. He would kick the gate against the door frame, kick his door into the wall, throw toys...and anything else he could think of. this went on for months...yes, months.

until.......I saw an episode on Super Nanny. So now, I read a book to both kids, hug them and walk him to bed. I tuck him in and wait at the door. When he gets up (which he always does) I walk him back to bed without saying a word (which is very hard for me). I wait by the door until he settles in...about 7 min or so...then i go about my usually nighttime stuff. the major difference, i don't close the gate until i go to bed. This seems to have stopped the tantrums and he goes to bed quicker.

Who would have thought. It's just too bad that it took me months to find this out.
